Jerry Sandusky case heads to trial after hearing waived

BELLEFONTE, Pa (Reuters) – Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky on Tuesday abruptly waived his right to a preliminary hearing on sex abuse charges, meaning his case will go straight to trial.
