Monster.com, the large job board, released its August numbers and some interesting stats popped out:
- NY State gained more than any other state in the number of jobs offered. What is driving this trend?
- Year-over-year growth for the nation was 12%. This pretty respectible for an economy moving sideways at best.
– Manufacturing was down again as was transportation and recreation jobs.
– Healthcare continues to grow – in particular technician and assistant jobs as well as homecare.
– Delaware and CT topped the board with per capital jobs available — hello Wilmington and Westport!
