Money: LSE Bond Scheme – 1st Feb 10

The London Stock Exchange launches a new bond scheme, which gives companies the chance to raise finances directly from private investors instead of from banks. A new ruling states that retailers who sell more than 32kg of batteries per year are responsible for recycling them. We also look at figures which show the weak pound has finally started helping exporters, with orders rising rather than falling for the first time in two years. Finally, we find out why UK online shoppers are the biggest spenders in Europe.
